‘The Silence of Bones’ is out in the world!
Hello friends!
The long wait is over! THE SILENCE OF BONES, my YA historical mystery, is officially out in the world!
It's a dream come true, a dream I've pursued for the past ten years. It began when I was a hopeful teen who thought she'd be published within a year, it nearly ended in 2016 after 100+ rejections, and it finally blossomed today!
I'm going to keep this section short because my brain is absolutely fried! The past week was intense. I had to work on my second book to meet a deadline, I had to finish all the homework leading up to my debut week, and I also had to entertain my easily-bored baby all day long since we're stuck at home. My brain is ALSO fried from all the excitement!
Anyway, I have no idea what kind of future awaits THE SILENCE OF BONES -- especially as it's debuting during a time when the world is aching. But I'm grateful, nevertheless, no matter how things go. I'm relieved that the wait is finally over. I can finally say: I AM A PUBLISHED AUTHOR. As well as: Thank you EVERYONE for making this whole debut experience so absolutely fun and heart-warming.
